Lav'a Belle Champagne Cocktail

The drink
A creation by Sven Goller of the bar "Das Schwarze Schaf" in Bamberg for Breuninger Nürnberg – served in the confiserie there as the "Breuninger Spritz Royal". Lav'a Belle combined with balanced notes of sweet orange and fresh Verjus.
Ingredients
- 3 cl Lav'a Belle
- 3 cl Verjus (or extra-dry white vermouth)
- 5 cl Cointreau
- 15 cl champagne
- Orange wedge (optional)
Preparation
Pour Lav'a Belle, Verjus and Cointreau into a chilled coupe and top up with chilled champagne. Garnish with an orange wedge, if you like. Alternatively, use white vermouth instead of Verjus (slightly sweeter).

- 2 cl rosé vermouth
- 1 cl fresh lemon juice
- 1 cl cane sugar syrup
- Dried orange slice (optional)
